Technology flexible enough for your foundry's complexity

Modular assets acquire your production data. A flexible backend links it to machines, tools, components and periods. Both can be tailored to your production structure and extended step by step, from a single device to multiple plants. The result is connected information for different tasks and perspectives.

Modular data acquisition and managed operation

Matched to your production

From a single device to a cell, line and plant, the modular design represents your production structure. Machines and components can be added, relocated or replaced, including during ongoing operation.

Use what is available, add what is needed

Available data is acquired from the control system through interfaces. Where information is missing, suitable interfaces or sensors extend acquisition. You determine the data depth and pace of expansion.

Buffer and process data locally

Local Storage buffers and processes data so that acquisition can continue as far as possible during a cloud connection interruption. Buffered data is transferred when the connection is restored. In normal operation, current data is available with low latency.

Rich data directly at the workplace

Data is related to other data as it is acquired. The local structure corresponds to the cloud model. This allows panels and boards to use enriched data and advanced functions on site.

One plant or multiple sites

One or more Data Hubs and Local Storages are configured to meet technical and organisational requirements. Multiple plants can be represented together or separately. Users can see data from one or several sites according to their permissions and tasks.

Managed technology in everyday operation

Hardware, software and their functions are actively monitored. IT security and management of the deployed components are part of managed operation, helping reveal faults and required adjustments early.

Capabilities across the backend

The right time at every site

A shared, globally distributed and continuously monitored time base keeps acquired data aligned in time. Incorrect device clocks therefore do not affect its temporal assignment. For analysis, each site is represented in its own time zone. Daylight saving time changes are handled automatically.

Data security

Each customer has private cloud instances. Data is not mixed between customers. IT security is integrated into the architecture from the outset. Assets and software are continuously monitored around the clock. High technical standards apply to hardware, software and backend structures.

In the office, on the move and across sites

Cloud-based web applications make production data usable in the office, on the move and across sites. No direct access to local production networks is required. Central provision simplifies application maintenance, updates and monitoring. Your teams can use information wherever their tasks require it.

Prepared for new tasks and AI

Early data relationships and shared context create an AI-ready foundation. Backend data structures and variables follow an internally standardised catalogue. This represents physical and logical metadata alongside primary data. Data processing and the backend are continuously extended and optimised to support new functions, fast analyses and a good user experience.

More than a view of one machine

Tools, periods and changing equipment structures open up additional perspectives for technical investigations and organisational questions alike.

Follow a tool across its deployments

Tools are modelled in the backend as independent components, including complex ones, and linked to data and other structures. During use, a tool is connected to the relevant machine. When its use ends, that relationship is released. Deployment periods remain traceable. This enables a view of the tool and its process across different machines, even with different equipment or sensors.

Compare cycles, lots and shifts

Time-based objects, such as production cycles, lots, shifts, days or weeks, assign and aggregate data. They support investigations of organisational questions and technical changes, for example different settings or the process before and after a tool modification.

Represent equipment changes

Devices and systems can be extended with components and measurement variables. Retrofits and modifications increase data density and are represented in their time context. The flexible interface layer grows with them, so analysis is not limited to the original equipment configuration.

Acquire data outside active production too

Data acquisition is not tied to production cycles or an actively producing machine. Data can also be acquired and analysed during non-productive periods. This enables analysis of auxiliary processes, startup conditions and wider sensor readings, for example. Relationships remain visible before, between and after production phases.
